Spiced cherry tomatoes

  • 400 g mixed cherry tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp olive poil
  • 1 tbsp Seasoning 1 1 table spoon is about 10g and contains 4mg of sodium


  1. Prepare the tomatoes. Leave small ones whole, half or quarter larger fruit.

  2. Heat the olive oil in a heavy bottomed skillet or frying pan.

  3. Add the tomatoes.

  4. Add the Seasoning 1.

  5. Fry, moving around for 5-8 minutes over a medium heat until the tomatoes soften and some begin to break up.

  6. Serve and enjoy.

Recipe Notes

These spiced cooked tomatoes are a great side dish served alongside a piece of salmon or chicken breast.  With a little more cooking they would coat a pasta dish for a quick makeshift sauce.
