Seasoned red salmon

  • 2 skinless salmon steaks
  • 2 tbsp Seasoning 1 2 tbsp is about 20g and contains 8mg of sodium
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Juice of half a lemon


  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C (Fan 160 degrees)

  2. In a bowl, make a paste from the olive oil, lemon juice and Seasoning 1

  3. Rub the paste into both of the salmon steaks (you may choose to wear gloves for this part)

  4. Place on a baking tray and cook in the oven for 8-10 minutes until just cooked through

  5. Serve

Recipe Notes

This salmon goes really well with a variety of sides – boiled new potatoes and wilted spinach, stir fried greens with chilli or a big chopped salad. You can also serve it with lemon, watercress, flatbread and guacamole.
